Scenescapes - Alien Montage

     In late fall of 1999, I was living in Atlanta, GA -- working on a cd project as a guitarist. Being a night owl I usually would stay up late and one night  was listening to the radio. I came across a talk show called Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell.   This was an international show and  the interview being conducted was very strange. I never thought that I would hear such a huge show talk about things that only 'weird' people like myself thought about.  I was hooked and from that night on tuned in to hear topics discussed such as angels, demons, aliens, secret societies and so on.             The hosts on the show [mainly George Noory, Art Bell, and Ian Punnett] are true journalists; and are refreshing in a day where most people try to spin their story to fit their particular political affiliation. They just tell the story or conduct the interview, and let the listeners decide for themselves. There are of course 'hokey' guests on from time to time, but even then they are heard out, at which time the host will get his own digs in, which can also be entertaining.           

                                                                  

   One guest has claimed that host George Noory is a star child. A star child is one who is an alien offspring, or one who has had their genetic code altered by e.t.s. Other guests  claim that aliens are friendly and are actually our  creators. Still there are other guests who claim that aliens are evil, dangerous, and perhaps even demonic. But who knows -- maybe they are here to help; and perhaps George --with his good looks, talent and charisma -- is indeed a star child......Maybe?   My montage "Aliens Among Us" that I have created plays with this idea.

   One very humorous aspect of Coast to Coast has to do with a frequent caller who calls himself JC. He appears to be a cult leader who lives at a "compound" and has followers. According to JC and his "righteousness" the following are true:                                                           

1. JC is "God's 10 star general in the war against media pornography"       

2. JC is " the bringer of the 'new revelation' given directly from God"           

3. JC and God will judge the world and watch as "evil doers are thrown into the boiling pits of sewage".                                                                   

4. "Book learning is evil"                                                                               

5. Followers must "give it all to God" and forfeit all personal belongings to JC.                                                                                                                       

These are just some of JC's words of wisdom. The button below is a hilarious sound clip of one of JC's calls. Ian Punnett is hosting. A man named Les calls in and claims to be the antichrist. After a couple minutes, Ian brings JC in on the other line and the two have it out.
